From a myspace bulletin today

Hello Everybody.


I can't tell you how sad it makes us to inform you that we are not able to play THE Fest 7 later this month. Jack is about to be a father and needs to be around for his soon to be born son. I tried convincing him that Floyd kinda looks like a baby and maybe Jack could practice changing diapers and holding Floyd like a baby in a gigantic baby bjorn in Gainesville... but he insisted on staying home for, "The real deal". Can't say I blame him really.


To the kids going to THE Fest 7:

If any of you see Tony Whiskeyrunnerwinebender please go out of your way to thank him for the best festival in punk rock. If any of you have ever been to another festival, you know what I mean. Tony works insanely hard to book and coordinate this amazing event every year for all of us punks to have a place to go be ourselves and see some of the most fun and best bands in the country. TONY Fest FUCKING RULES..... hug him every time you see him.


In other news we have a record coming out on Oct 28th. It's called Little Brother and it's a 5 song EP. Our full length record African Elephants is expected out in early spring of next year.

Yeah, this is a bummer.

I was going to have to miss them anyway. This makes me feel a bit better now. Sucks for them that they can't make it now, though.

I decided anyway for landmines at that time, but I know its a bummer for a lot of people and definitly no idea....

gonna see if they make with that spot... I'm definitly for
a) Kid dynamite (most of them play the Fest anyway, at least the day before)
b) Gunmoll -Reunion (would be killer to see them live, also probably all in town)

man, I saw Gunmoll in Gainesville a bunch of times, and I think only like once did they actually have a decent crowd.

I wanted to see them soooo bad. I've never seen them and missed them last year.
Some chick gets knocked up and my Fest gets shit on. Seriously, who needs babies?

Propagandhi's coming out with a new record early next year.
Make it happen. Either that or Landmines x2 that weekend. Which I don't mind at all.

But really, let's hope HWM saves the day.

Shit, maybe we can convince Panthro to play. I know they know people want them to play, I told them.

Their myspace said they were playing last year's Fest and it never happened.
I would be quite pleased to say the least.

Alex rarely even logs in to his Apeshit profile. He has like 3 times this year. I'm betting he does the Panthro profile too.

I'm thinking if any of the "missing" bands actually DID get left off the schedule, perhaps one of them can go in DTM's place. I think that would be more realistic.


HWM won't be playing because Chuck is on the Revival Tour which is in California Fest weekend.
