I will be fine with whatever choices I have to make, as long as Scouts Honor and Paint It Black do not conflict.
anything else, I know how I'd go, and while I'd rather not have to miss bands like No Trigger, Polar Bear Club, Hour Of The Wolf, A Wilhelm Scream, Brainworms, Municipal Waste, Lemuria, etc, etc, etc, the choice can easily be made if it must.
#1 priority on Friday is Chris Wollard
#1 on Sunday is Leatherface.
anything else will happen as it may.

I'm gonna for sure be havin issues on Saturday.
Friday and Sunday could be quite doable without any major upsets for me.
Although we all know that aint gonna happen.
Some I cannot miss are:
Lawrence Arms
Bridge and Tunnel
Monikers
Off With Their Heads
New Bruises
Leatherface
Get Bent
Able Baker Fox
Paint it Black
We'll see if I manage to to tick em all off.

Yeah, I always love Sundays. It is a day for folk/country/metal/grindcore think there's any chance the Gram Parsons tribute might not overlap with sets we can't miss?
Ha! I will tell you that there is NO WAY IN HELL I'll be at it. let's just say if I were, there would be a scene and leave it at that.

I wonder what poor band will be dealt the unfortunate time slot opposite Leatherface, or even to the 2 hours preceding the boat's set, considering fan boys like me will sit through whatever bands to make sure we see Leatherface.

I noticed the Methadones aren't listed (i think they are the only band from the HORSEBITES poster that aren't listed) on the day-by-day line-up that was released yesterday.
anyone know if the methadones are still playing the Riot Fest this weekend?

Hmmmm, good eye. I'm not seeing The Methadones on the Fest website at all ANYWHERE now???
Edit: And Riot Fest is on their calendar but not the Fest.
It is on the Confirmed list here though and I'm trying to figure out how if they aren't playing???

i find all this talk about not being able to see 17 bands on saturday a little funny. i saw close to 50 bands last year and the only one i couldn't get in to see was PMFS so i just saw a couple others. with some sets i would catch half of one set and then go to another venue and catch the last half of another set. i didn't do this for every band i saw but it was never much of a hassle.
i always thought it'd be interesting for a band with members that are die hard fans of say...Leatherface just bailing on their set so as not to miss them.

50 bands??????? What kind of marathon were you in? I killed myself last year RUNNING from one venue to the next to shoot as many bands as possible and only got an average of seeing eight bands a day. And a couple days I did leave mid set to catch two headlining bands a night.

how the hell did you only manage 8 a day?
you get more than that just sitting at The Venue whenever it's running
I just counted I saw about 20 bands on Saturday alone, most of them were full sets

I could definitely see 17 bands in one Saturday. but not the 17 I want to see most.
Also, as you get older, you lose some stamina. If there's no one I'm wanting to see at a particular moment, I'll go check out whoever is playing nearby just to check them out, but unless they blow me away, I'm probably not watching more than two songs.
