I was originally going to fly into Jacksonville on Thurs Oct 27th in the morning with enough time to catch a shuttle and hang out in Gainesville the day before the Fest but now that I found out I am required to work 4 days of the week I wouldn't be able to leave til Thurs evening which rules out that early flight. It looks like leaving that evening from Chicago I would be able to catch a flight into Tampa (with enough time to catch Pre-Fest). The only thing is I would need to share a ride with someone who is going to Pre-Fest back to Gainesville because I don't want to sit around waiting for a shuttle on the day of the Fest. I figured there will be a lot of people that I can talk to at Pre-Fest who would be travelling to Gainesville the next day but I don't want to be finding someone last minute if there is someone who I can connect with beforehand. I will pitch in for gas.
