Right, so I need to do the above journey on the Monday to fly back to England from Chicago on the Tuesday after Fest. The tickets were $138 (should have booked them then, probably). Now they are $180. Without having any way to understand how the pricing works on American airlines. Is it likely that they will go down before the time or will they continue to go up?

they will most likely keep getting higher priced.
