I'm coming from the UK, got my Fest tickets booked and staying with friends once there, but I reeeeaaally want to go 4 or 5 days early, into New York or somewhere and travel a bit down the East Coast. Anyone coming from anywhere up for this or already travelling from somewhere? Maybe catching a few shows on the way down and seeing some sights! I'd obviously pay share of petrol, halfsies on beers, find places we could stay n stuff. Im up for alternative suggestions and tag alongs! Anything that means I can come early and hang out, see some music and make the most of the flight over Be nice to meet some pre Fest buddies. There's some awesome shows involving Flatliners that'd be nice to get in on... cheers x

You drive over enormous bayous (or go canoeing in them) and catch the occasional killer Cajun accent. It was awesome. Just a thought. I've heard the beaches along South Carolina and near Savannah are lovely.

I'm flying into NY on 20th Oct and am considering attempting a roadtrip down. There's two definites and one probable so far, but I'm the only one who can drive. If anyone who could split the driving wants to get involved let me know.
