The taxi drivers at Gainesville Airport tend to wait until they are full and then drive people downtown. He'll drop you off in turn but probably still might charge each of you the full amount for a single fare so you'll have someone to share with for sure but might not save too much money.

2 out of 4 times for me (the other times I've had lifts). One year it took an hour to get to the Holiday Inn due to dropping other people off!! I was getting fed up as I wanted to go out and start getting drunk right away!!

as i recall it was a bit of a slog. i thinkthe greyhound goes via orlando so it takes a while.

although i was way hung over and it was way full.



try not to go too crazy at the pre Fest, make sure your ipod is full of juice and it'll probably be a breeze
