how haven't you seen dear landlord yet? i've seen them at least 5 times and i'm from the uk.
i think i've seen every band i want to see at the Fest before, but i've basically stopped listening to new music. but then again, i haven't done my yearly listen-to-bands-i've-never-heard-of-that-are-playing-the-fest session yet, so maybe there'll be loads of great new bands.
i'm kind of annoyed that none more black, hot water music, against me and lifetime are playing. it means that i'm almost certainly going to have to watch the headliners at the venue each night. other than that it's the usual suspects of banner pilot, tiltwheel, dillinger four, dear landlord, iron chic, good luck, and drinking too many rum rummers cocktails.

How have I not seen Dear Landlord? The past 2 Fests it has nearly been impossible to see them. At Fest 8 there was the power outage at the Venue and everyone went to Common Grounds.... last year they opened at 8 Seconds and everyone was in line there. So I didn't even bother. As far as I know they haven't played anywhere close to me in the mean time. That's how I have not seen them.

Got in line early and still waited through their set. Boo. (Not necessarily in this order) 1. Bouncing Souls 2. Coffee Project 3. Greenland is Melting 4. Larry and His Flask (dudes are freakin' NUTZ) 5. Tim Barry 6. Youth Brigade

Larry And His Flask Tim Barry Armalite Franz Nicolay No Trigger The Slow Death The Soviettes Polar Bear Club Red City Radio Screaming Females Cheap Girls TV Casualty Upright Citizens Brigade
There are bands playing that I like way more than those, but I really don't want to go to The Venue if there's anybody playing anywhere else I wanna see.
and I still need to see Hour Of The Wolf added to the lineup.

I usually use the Fest as a chance to see all the young bands that I never get out to see any more but this year I'm feeling nostalgic so I think I'm going to celebrate Fest 10 by going to see all my old favorites. I hope to squeeze in some young bands but I'll wait to figure out that when the schedule gets announced. For now:
Hot Water Music None More Black The Arrivals The Bouncing Souls Dillinger Four

subject to change based on the next band announcement but as it stands....
most looking forward too...
already seen:
Hot Water Music Tigers Jaw Such Gold Make Do and Mend Living With Lions How Dare You Less Than Jake RVIVR
never seen:
Small Brown Bike
With the linup there at the moment i've seen most of the bands i love so hoping for something brand new with the next list of bands, maybe a band that has never been to the uk and also some small up and coming bands.

bands I've seen: Less Than Jake Off With Their Heads We Are The Union
- bands I will be seeing before Fest: Polar Bear Club Lemuria Cheap Girls
main reason I'm going to Fest is for Less Than Jake and Coffee Project (and The Swellers before they pulled out) But I'm also excited to see bands I've only discovered recently, Like Protagonist and Mixtapes.

hopefully this year I can catch the entire Dear Landlord set also: Cheap Girls and Coffee Project who played during Flatliners last year and I went with teh Flats but it was awesome anyway and Rehasher Samiam because...well yeah because I want to finally see them hah. Circle Takes the Square for the same reason. Bouncing Souls o' course La Dispute, Mixtapes, Dopamines again, can never get enough of the Menzingers, Tigers Jaw
oh god so many I hope my schedule doesn't conflict too much >.<
