Did anyone have any experience with the Fest Punch? Was it full of booze or not?

i actually didn't have any of it this year, but previous years it definitely was all boozed up. probably would have had some if i was at the double down more, but i only went there for Spanish Gamble's final show.

Yeah it's certainly been good in the past but I had four cups of it around the time Spanish Gamble played and swear I left Double Down more sober than when I went in! I don't know if I was just unlucky and drinking from a weak batch or what but it certainly didn't seem as potent as past years!

I usually don't wind up drinking a lot of Fest Punch because I was only ever in CG for a band or two at a time, but this year I spent the vast majority of Saturday Night there and it definitely did it's job. In fact I was so hungover Sunday that I wound up having to rest in bed most of the afternoon, managed to make it out for a few bands that night. But I will probably stay away from the stuff in future years because it really does sneak up on you and fucked my Sunday

I definitely think I was just unlucky then, probably was drinking from the bottom of a cooler that had been topped up with fruit juice or something. I remember when I ordered the first ones I asked for 'two Fest punch pleases' as I couldn't even speak properly but 4 drinks later I was sober as a judge. Probably for the best given how much drinking was still ahead of us anyway!

i don't know whats wrong with kids these days, here in Tijuana we call it Agua Loca and i remember a few years ago, those were full of alcohol potential, it was all mixed, Tequila, Whiskey, Mezcal, Juice, Soda, everything you could find in your kitchen, some of them even pills, it tasted like shit! but with one cup you were already drunk, Agua Loca these days now taste good and you have to take like a gallon to get drunk
