I hope that there will be a secret ska show... though i highly doubt it will be Fest related, the duppies, the know how, shotgun diplomacy, waxed curbs, and a one pump chump reunion show would be pro for a great Skalloween... but im just the hopeful ska kid at the beard Fest...

I love ska too, and i totally agree with you there esp. about the know how being assholes, but a ska show around Fest time, or even a ressurection of skalloween would be nice, if you like the punk-ska check out 'Waste Basket', Ska Punk Mayhem from chicago...

Tony got interviewed on the new Rocket Fuel, drops some hints on one of the Friday mystery bands. It's a band not slated to play Fest, and has never played Fest before. There are some other details in there, as I recall, but they escape me at the moment. It's a pretty sweet podcast, to boot. http://www.rocketfuelpodcast.com/

My best bet would be Loma Prieta, like I said before. Another bet would be Kid Dynmite, but I highly doubt they'll play that show since they'll most likely play that Against Me! show on Saturday. Loma Prieta is also playing somewhere in Florida (can't recall the name of the city right now) on Monday the 31st. All signs point to them.

I might have misheard through the megaphone-to-tin-can connection.

I have a good feeling loma prieta is playing Fest or at least a house show...
but I don't think it's the band for that slot.... He did say he grew up with them... Loma Prieta is way too new for that... where is Tony from again? Didn't he help with Macrock back in the day? what bands played them? More importantly what bands are playing that have members from bands from that area? (I have an idea but I'm afraid to say it)
