I have 3 friends who have tickets who are having trouble getting from the Bay Area to Gainesville. I have my plane ticket and am good to go but plane tickets are becoming pretty unreasonable and this is likely going to prevent them from going to Fest. BUT they still want to go.

I am looking to see if there is any chance that someone out here in the Bay Area that might be in the same boat and are looking for a road trip buds. Kind of a long shot but one of the 3 is my best friend who has been coming with me to Fest for the past 2 years and I really don't want him to miss this. So this is worth a shot for me.

Anyone in the Bay Area still not certain on how you are getting there let me know!! Road Tip, Train hopping, whatever. One ticket might be available too! Pending the situation maybe 3

I've got nothing helpful to say, but for what it's worth I will commisserate with you (but i will refuse to spell that word correctly) about how difficult it is to book air travel from SF to Orlando, Jacksonville or Gainesville at regular-persons hours.
It's bonkers.

Geeeeeeesh. I blame the gigantic expanse taken up by Plains states.
