my favourite thing about armalite playing is the bit on the Fest site for their description, it says there's going to be a new ep!

Now we know that Jeff will be there, along with Andy and Josh, I see NO REASON that Affirmative Action Jackson can't/shouldn't play. What the fuck guys?!?!

We DID make a new EP. We even figured out how to email the artwork to Var. Will it be out in time? Certainly a race against the clock. But, I'm happy to share the tracklisting, at least, with you now....
Armalite "Right To Be Paranoid" EP
side A Vivisection Kills! Police KKKrap Redemption Song (B. Marley cover)
side B David Phones in Sick and Sleeps it Off (feat. Pink Eye/Fucked Up)
** It should be noted that this new Armalite EP should NOT be confused with the "solo" EP Dan has coming out of his folk-punk stuff on K Records later this year (like December).

I guess I should be a good friend and mention that Dan's solo project is called The DanYemberists.
I think K is sending out promos later this month. I've actually only heard like 3 demo'd songs: "The Fifes of Westfield Are Calling Me Home," "Los Perros de Guerra" and a cover of Donovan's "Sunshine Superman," which Dan has re-fitted the lyrics for, so that they are all about HIMSELF! what a weirdo.

While everybody else was busy talking about Kid Dynamite and Latterman playing cause all the members will already be there or whatever, this was all I could think! And I find it 100% more likely.

probably not much chance of a package reunion as 1) the package isn't speaking to atom, 2) it lived with me for the past few years just to get away from his violent moodswings, 3) it now lives with jeff, who's probably already sold it for money for drugs or high-end scotch or oi records or, frankly, pizza.
But, what do I know. Maybe it just takes the right incentive.
I remember Atom once saying "I'll never do another atom & his package reunion unless someone hands mike mckee a fistful of $20 bills and a big bag of high-impact but ultimately harmless psychotropic drugs at the Fest in october 2011."
Probably just Atom being goofy, but just in case, I'll be the chubby old guy at the armalite merch table saying, "Hello, How is your Fest weekend so far? No, I'm not Paddy. You can tell by the beard, Ok? Now, have you brought me any high-impact but ultimately harmless psychotropic drugs?"
