Quote: Whether you have or haven’t heard the rumors yet, here’s the shake down on what’s happening--HWM are gearing up to play shows next year in conjunction with the release of our new singles and B-sides compilation, “Till The Wheels Fall Off,” which is due out January 22nd on No Idea. Here is the list of confirmed shows:
JANUARY 19TH, 2008 ORLANDO, FL HOUSE OF BLUSE JANUARY 25TH, 2008 SAYERVILLE, NJ STARLAND BALLROOM FEBRUARY 2ND, 2008 CHICAGO, IL METRO
Tickets for these shows will go on sale Saturday, November 10th.
People have been asking the following questions, for which I will provide the answers:
Q: Are you guys still doing The Draft and Chuck solo stuff? A: Yes, very much so.
Q: Are you going to do another HWM record? A: We haven’t even rehearsed the old shit yet.
Q: How many HWM shows are you going to do? A: We haven’t put a limit on it, but it’s not anything we’ve really thought about, either.
Q: What/how many songs are you guys going to be playing? A: Who knows/ a bunch, hopefully. We’re working on a way to incorporate you all on the set making a bit. Not too much, though. You guys like some terrible songs.
We really, honestly don’t know anything aside from the info we’re releasing right here. IF anything else is going to happen, we’ll be sure to let everyone know as soon as we do. Thanks a ton for the positive response, everyone.
Peace HWM
STOKED isn't the word. See you assholes in Jersey!!!

I really wish they'd play The Social, instead of HOB, but I'll be there anyway.
If Common Grounds is too small for them in Gville, maybe "the Venue?" It worked pretty well for Avail.

I agree with the comments about the social because yes downtown disney is quite possibly one of the worst places on earth, but at the same time HOB equals better sound and more tickets to be sold.
The social would sell out fast as fuck and I'll be damned if I'm missing HWM again.

Does anyone know where to get tickets for the Orlando date?
Ticket master? House of Blues? let me know, I'm too fucking lazy to look myself.

I think HOB uses ticketmaster.
If I were doing something of this scale, I'd just do double engagements at smaller venues (with lower stages!). But that's just me. One of the best times I saw HWM was at The Sapphire Supper Club. One of the most boring times was at HOB. Still, I'll be going wherever they play.

If you're coming up to NJ, you should really spend the weekend in New Brunswick! We're only 15 minutes away! Maybe we can set up a real New Brunswick basement show that weekend, show you guys how we party at home...

I hate Jersey. With all their fucking tolls and backwards roadways... I said I would never got back again in that god forsaken venue at sayerville...
But needless to say, I'll fucking be there.
Don't stay in jersey... Come to BK
