Hey everybody!

A friend of mine and myself are flying from South Dakota into Tampa early on the 25th and hoping to hit up the Pre-Fest show that day/night.

Is there anybody out there that would be willing to give us a ride from Tampa to Gainesville after the show (Thursday night or Friday morning) and then a ride back to Tampa after The Fest (Sunday night late or Monday morning)?

We'll give you gas money, buy the beer, whatever you want..

i might be able to help you out. i'm not sure if i'm driving though. if you go to the pre-fest show, just ask around. i'm positive you can find a ride up.

Every year, an insane convoy of drunken stupidity makes it's way North on I-75 to engage in an insane weekend of drunken stupidity. Show up to the Pre Fest show, eat pizza, drink beer and talk your way into somebody's car or van.

It worked for me last year. As an added bonus we even stopped and got Hawk's boiled peanuts last year. You have some fine folks there in the other bay area.

I'd like a lift to Tampa, I'll be hanging out in Gville from Weds, i was looking at getting a coach but I'd suck. I'll obviously pay and i'm foreign and cool and shit.

Very true, but you know me I like keeping first time riders on "the edge" it's a good time for everyone.

I didn't read through the forum but we are playing the 24th and going back the 25th to do the show at our house next day (we'll be staying till 5 or so for the 25th show) but you can hop in the van with us last resort...but I think you'll be able to find a more comfortable ride.

i'm driving from st. pete, might crash in tampa on thursday night. not sure right now, but i'll be at both transitions shows, the whole Fest. probably leave monday morning, not sure about that. but i should have 3-4 seats in my car and any help with gas or anything would be a load of help and appreciated.

I too would like to get a lift to the Fest from Tampa but I'm a bit worried about risking it! If it all flunks will I still be able to get a Greyhound coach without having to pre-book?
