So i just got a message from toshi saying he can't make it to Fest this year. How much does this suck! Anyone want to get a Fest pot going, see if we can raise enough cash for his plane ticket?

God damn...if I couldn't make it to the Fest and I still lived in New Mexico no one would buy my ass a ticket. I wish for some reason I was special.
I might if I had tons of extra cash just flowing out of my pockets...but I barely get to eat everyday as is. =/

never got to meet toshi but it would be near impossible not to see him at the Fest last year, i remember i was watching a band at abbey road i think it was and toshi was on the side of the stage, then i run over to sidebar and somehow he is already on stage singing along with the band. I'll throw some cash his way if he teaches us his ninja venue hopping moves.

Yeah, sucks for toshi. I was talking to someone about this a while back and he said "ah, toshi's been at the last five fests, he can afford to miss one". I was thinking " a year without Fest... Suckage".
Still, not so bad for toshi, i'll be moving to japan next year, so we can have a japafest without all you jerks!!!

I've been to Japan and it's WAY cleaner than Gainesville. So, I'm not sure you'll get the same experience. The rice beer rules though and the little Japanesse girls totally dig american guys...Irish too, I'm sure, which is a nice plus. Oh wait, yer married, ain't ya...hmmm.
try the eel dumplings...they're better than they sound. And if you're flying into Naritta, check out the temples there...worth the stop before a train ride into Tokyo(!$!).

Well then, you're set. I'm sure you'll find some cute PR Japanese girls that'll enjoy showing you around...sounds crazy, but it's probably true.
Yer a likeable guy...when you're not fabricating lies online...haha.
