This is also my first Fest. I think the last time I was this excited for anything was when I was about to lost my virginity. I'm in training mode right now: Getting in walking shape, improving my alcohol tolerance, and balancing my chi. Should be a good time.

The thing I recommend the most is learning to deal with the hangover the next day and keep going. (This is if you choose to sleep) Walking is overrated, but improve your hugging skills. Also learn to keep track of your shirt, cause undoubtly it will come off sometime during Fest. You will have a blast.

pace yourself with your drinking. it's real easy to get caught up in the "wooh" just go hog wild. i've tried to improve each year. and yeah, definitely keep track of your clothes. i can't even count how many shirts/boxers/shorts i've lost.

the only Fest i didn't go to was fest2 but every other year it's been one hell of a time. bring a pad for names/numbers and jot down something to help you remember who's who.

one thing i have learned from all the past fests is you really don't need to try to get wasted. that will take care of itself. trying too hard generally leads to blacking out/passing out too early. if you pace yourself, you will be able to enjoy/remember a whole lot more.

i will give you a horrible tip:

Axid AR is a drug for acid reflux and heartburn.

thing is, when you get to feeling you'll hurl, take one early enough, and you'll hold on to your lunch...then it's time for another round.

seriously, I'm mainly a smoker, cause I don't deal well with alcohol all the time. I've gotten nearer to alcohol poisoning on these than I did with shit I don't even talk about anymore...yeah, but that was the early 90's.

anyhow, hope I can make at least one fellow pussy/lightweight's Fest.
