This man knows what he's talking about! The Bomb are top of my list of must see's except maybe for Bottlerocket as I've still never seen them and I've seen the Bomb 3 times this year already. It would still be a tough choice though!

my stoke of luck with the fat wreck showcase in new york will hopefully make some decisions alot easier (never seen TB or Dead to Me before), i'm guessing that line up will play on the sat night all in the same venue too, leaving me the option to spend my time elsewhere.

something like LWL vs MDAM would be my nightmare scenario, two bands i've never seen and really wanna see.

that definitly helps.. first year I skipped the prefest shows and regreted it afterwards.. definitly helped doing them last year to avoid clashes.. also tehy are simply fun.. I saw some bands still twice, cause shows at the Fest are different. also I saw some bands on the pre-fest that were on my b) or c) list of bands to see of what I heard on their myspace that were live really great..

i'm a first timer but i think i still know what you mean about shows being different at Fest, will still try to see as many bands as humanly possible but will have to prioritise those i've never seen. it's like i've got nothington and bangers/arteries this week but would still wanna see those bands at Fest. (not bangers of course)

looking forward to seeing who is on the wayward council pre Fest too.

anything with young livers or Iron Chic. Just saw those two bands in long island and believe me you dont want to miss them for anyone else on the bill

Yeah I probably would choose the bomb, it'd be tricky though! Also Timmeh, turns out the dopamines are playing thursday at tampa so I'm gonna have to go to that, they were the deciding factor after all. you're due for a rambling email anyway so il dicuss with you then. i was hoping so bad that theyd do wednesday!

Haha, we seem to be having a heavily edited version of the same conversation we've already had by email! I only just noticed Noise By Numbers are playing Fest ( or if I already knew then I somehow forgot until now!) and if they happen to play Tampa then I might be tempted!

Haha yeah I realised that too. The only thing I worry about with Tampa is the 4 of us bloody getting there and back. Im gonna book the hotel now though screw it.
