somebody mentioned that banner pilot are playing tampa pre-fest, so I guess these are on as again...

the past couple years it's been Transitions Art Gallery doing 2 days of Tampa Pre-Fest which usually have incredible awesome and stacked lineups
1982 usually does a Thursday night pre-fest show
also last year Boca Fiesta got involved with it

Thats awesome, yeah im trying to put something together this year in Orlando. Hopefully works out.

wayward usually does a prefest show that gets stomped by the 82 one, but we dont usually start thinking about Fest til kinda late... ill keep yall updated though

Fucking airport trouble made me roll into Gainesville seven hours late so I only got to see the last three bands at 1982.

I'm to busy being judgemental on the internet

so is pre-fest in tampa tuesday/wednesday or wednesday/thursday?

i'm in gainesville pre-fest.

hope for something on the wednesday, though i know there is mug night.

have had a bit of a browse of the fest8 forum to get a picture of what happens. my plan would be to go to prefest4(assuming it's called that) and then onto the failsafe warehouse show if i can get there.

as far as i'm aware failsafe warehouse shows are always friday/saturday/sunday. although the sunday show got cancelled last year. all you need to do is find a few people to share a taxi with and you're sorted for the warehouse shows.

Was a bonus i didn't expect, think the Casting Out played with about 5 other bands, thoughh by the looks of the time it would be a toss up between that and the show in town (if it did infact happen again)

2008 : it was in the anchor arms practice space, but same warehouse area.. I think there was a show announced on thursday, with like 4 bands with anchor in their band name... friday didn't happen, people were saying there is a show so 100 people showed up and several bands (paint it black, flatliners, sakes alive..) but the guy with the key passed out drunk.. saturday and sunday happened .. I think it was really spontanious that year and not even planned to do a show every night

2009: last year there were shows announced, for all 4 days, three happened, sunday was cancelled due to the noise... they were threatened a fine, if they would do one on sunday again

2010: lets hope the nice guys from failsafe records will do it again, trust me you will know by the time your in G'Ville.. they also were present at the flea market and ask them kindly... and don't forget to pick up the how dare you or anchor arms cd there - both records rule .. if you enjoy these shows, support them by getting on of their releases .. and don't bother too much asking around whos' playing.. also names last year were pretty accourat, most names you here is bullshit... go there bring beer, and let yourself surprise whos playing
