Why not take a backpack in to carry any merch you buy? Or are the venues not too cool about everyone taking a bag in with them?

Cuz that's like carrying a backpack around in a crowded sauna for 14 hours?

How long does it take to walk from the SW13th Hotels to the Venues?

Also, was thinkin of taking a wander on Wednesday afternoon, if I go to Lake Alice on the UF campus will i see Alligators? What i'm saying here is that i'd like to see alligators!

cheers

if you go to lake alice, you should be able to see alligators. also, if you're staying at the 13th street hotels (plus coming in early) if you eat at chopstix, they have a lakeview which also has some gators too.

I guess it depends how fast you walk...the walk to where the Holiday Inn is mostly uphill...probably took me 25-30 mins the one time I walked it. The walk back was faster. And the venues(most of them) are about 5-10 mins from the HI...so I'd say depending on how fast you walk, 30-40 mins to where the venues are.

I was living in Gainesville for about 5 months a few years ago and I saw some alligators on lake alice. I was pretty excited about it cuz up north we dont get that alligator action. What I'm saying is... you will not see an alligator in Boston. Too damn cold for em.

Whatever the lake behind the Paramount Plaza is called has plenty of gators. We were in the PP before Fest last year and it was pretty cool kicking back on the balcony watching them be all gator-y.
