How many people have these fliers on their fridge? I've been to a few houses and noticed them there, just like mine.

We aren't tacking anything onto it except the tax and credit card processing fee. $169.00 a night is what the sold them to us for. Oh, I know. I wasnt trying to make any accusations there against anyone but the Holiday Inn.

$169 split 4 ways is $43 bucks a pop, per night. Not a bad deal.

I don't think that Krusteez were behind the flyers. There's plenty of mathematically illiterate people of all stripes around here who surmise the Fest to be some sort of massive profit-generating machine. ("What, you mean it costs $60 to get in to Nelly's tonight? What a fuckin rip-off.")
Plus, hating on the Fest is a great way to signify: "Oh, yeah, I'm like, FROM here and shit. So sick of all these people coming in from out of town so those jerks can rake in all that cash, blahblahblah..."
As far as the dog abuse goes, it should just be standard policy to get all belligerent-drunk in their face about it. Then have someone else steal the dog after the fisticuffs, tears, or debate ratchet up.

Sure that's fine if you have 4 people you wanna share with and I don't think anyone for one minute think Fest/No Idea are trying to profit from the rooms. However I do wonder why it's $169 a night as opposed to the $117 a night that they charge if you stay the weekend before. People have talked about cost for extra security but the way I see it is surely all hotels have some type of security at all times and that's factored into the standard room costs. Surely if they need extra as they're having a busy weekend then that should be for them to pay for out of their profits from having so many paying customers right? OK perhaps a slight increase to cover the cost of a guy or two on the door to check wristbands but surely that should be it. 166 rooms with a $52 price increase per night over 4 nights. By my calculation that's getting on for 35000 bucks for security!!! And on top of that they have a full house of paying customers! It seems to me the Holiday Inn is the only one making a killing out of Fest!

Fucking epic this is. This is too elaborate for crusties though. I don't think any of them would take valuable spange money to draw then photocopy something between nodding off. It was probably a disgruntled resident of some kind.
