last night i smoked out of a vaporizer and drank absinthe for the first time ever. it made the walk home interesting, that's for sure. if i had a hundred bucks to blow on paraphenalia i'd definitely be investing in a vaporizer.

absinthe is definitely on my bucketlist. a good friend of mine flaked on getting me some from europe, i was not happy with them.

I hear that absinthe isn't really all the it's cracked up to be.

I removed something from my "list of things to do before I die" right before The Fest last year - I got head on a ferris wheel.

well from what my friend said, who has been procuring european absinthe for years, it really depends on what kind you get. He was telling me that he can get bottles from $60 and up, and this particular one he had, he paid $125 for. Personally, after the hour of puffing kind out of a vaporizer, plus probably 5 or 8 beers on top of that, it'd be hard for me to pinpoint what exactly the effect of the absinthe was, but i was fairly wrecked when i left his house, that's for sure.

You can get different types of absinthe these days, now that it's legal. But back when it wasn't and you could only get it if it was brought back from the Czech Republic or wherever it was lethal. I remember one night when 4 of us got completely ruined off a single bottle.

I actually smoked pot for the very first time, ever, a few weeks ago...then I did it again the following weekend. Good times...
