For the second time in less than a month I have called at 8:45 to assure that BOGO slices was starting at 9:00, which they did, only to drive all the way there and be told that they weren't going to start until 9:30, and even after admitting that they spoke to us and confirmed the 9 o'clock start, they refused to keep their word.

I went to Buddha Belly instead where the food was delicious and the service was stellar.

Has this ever happened to anyone else or am I just super unlucky?

P.S. I don't blame the staff, so if anyone who works there reads this, don't think I'm blaming you. This is definitely beef with the management.

i thought BOGO slices was purely a summer/only when they had it on the sign kind of thing. i mean i have walked in late at night and been offered a crazy deal, but it was unexpected.

Nah, BOGO is usually every night and hour before close, or that's what they will tell you when you call. It seems like if enough people show up they just change their minds though and charge full price until there's half a slice of cheese pizza left.
