for all the people coming from overseas, just make sure you watch out for these. and if you see one, don't run, they are faster than you and like the thrill of the chase.

You go down one side and back up another. Really not that complicated. I'm always amazed how many booking agents poorly book FL.

i can't complain, gville gets so many awesome shows for a city of its size.
the real travesty is that im probably going to miss strung out when they come here in october.
they are probably my favorite band ever.

last Saturday, I spotted the biggest spider I have ever seen in the wild. It was on the porch at Chunky T's.

But the body alone was probably at least 3 inches long, no clue on the length of the legs.

Absolutely harmless and beautiful. There were probably two spiders there but you only saw the large female. The male is REALLY tiny and shares the web with her.

I saw tons of banna spiders in the woods when I was a kid, and they freaked me out then. Obviously this was before the internet, so it wasn't so easy to find out they were harmless. Still don't think I'd get that close to one.
but I don't think this spider at Chunky T's was a banana spider. The body was wider, a little more rounded abdomen, and a duller color.

Ha, well any spider you're going to see in FL is likely smaller than those already both mentioned. My next guesses are Orb Weavers, Barn Spiders and Garden Spiders. All are big and common in FL: This one has this trademark web pattern: I bet there are some people that scream looking at this thread.
