anyone else staying there?? anyone familiar with that motel and know of anything I may need to be aware of? I had heard stories of other motels having nosy staff and such and wasn't sure if this is going to be an issue at the rush lake motel.
the lady I spoke with before reserving the room actually mentioned the Fest as "that thing where all the people are on marijuana???" which I found funny.
but so far that looks like where we'll be crashing for the Fest so I wondered if anyone stayed there last year and has any possible warning stories or praise for the motel.

Me and my buddies stayed there last year. It was pretty sweet but all we did was order five star every night. We are staying right down the road this year.

what is the nightly rate here? I stayed at motel 6 last year, and it wasn't bad, but it is really far away.

when I made our reservation I was told it was $50 a night. I'm not sure of any discounts or anything, but the regular price was the $50.
good luck!

Hey Rich!
Do you know if there are still vacancies there?

Also, you could try to get a discount by saying you're in gaineville to visit the UF campus. i heard some of the hotels there do that for prospective students.

I'm staying here now for sure. It seems kind of shady making my reservation though, my confirmation code is "bertha."
