Hertz, Budget, Enterprise and Avis all have branches in Gainesville. I usually use Enterprise. I am not quite certain why.

Rent-A-Wreck has a site in Orlando. I remember them being fairly cheap. It might even be cheaper to rent the car from them for the entire weekend and return it when you fly out.

I have a friend who gets in at about 7.30pm if I remember correctly. He was going to drive but didn't want to do the drive alone for the first time driving in a new country... If you don't mind waiting around at the airport for an hour, I will see if an extra person makes him comfortable with the drive?

Hey Andy, it's Ben, Bradshaw's mate from Birmingham, popped down to see you guys at the BSM show a couple of months back. I'm gonna be heading out to and sounds like we might even be on the same flight, I get in around 7pm on the Thurs so I'm in the same boat as you. Let me know what you find out about getting there, if it works out cheaper to go halves on a car even I could be up for that, let me know if you hear of any lifts and I'll do the same.

I'm flying in from the UK to Orlando on Thursday night. My flight arrives about 8pm, well after the last greyhound and runway buses. Is anyone else arriving/driving to Gainesville at around this time, and if so do they have any spare seats going? I'm happy to contribute anything to petrol or rental! I'd just really rather not have to wait until the midnight greyhound bus!
