hahaha - just checked today for changing rate and the dollar is 0,66 eurocent???? hell yeah!!!!!!!!!! nearly 15% better then last year and still remember when I was 2001 in teh states it was around 1.15€ per dollar...

Good for you man, but goddamn the British pound When I first needed dollars a couple of years back it was $2 = £1, but when I bought mine at the weekend it was $1.56 = £1. Clearly not going to stop me spending though, I'll probably just keep pretending it's still $2...

I've never wished we were part of the Euro more than when I've been thinking about buying dollars.
Still, when we were over in April this year it was about £1=$1.40, so it could be worse.

yeah we are lucky right now - at least when it coems down to spending money on holiday in the US or ordering stuff in the uk... the germany economy can't wait for the exchange rate to drop so exports go up again.. anyway I thought its still 1,20 till I checked yesterday

Ahh you bottled it...I was close to but I'm still holding on...it's been on the up since last week...I was selling (I work in a bureau de change) at 1.5638 today and in my (not so) expert opinion it's gonna go up again tomorrow. Of course what'll happen is I'll hang on til next week when it'll go through the floor.

Come on little guy! Bet you wish it was the UK you were headed to..the aussie dollar rate does not make nice reading in the mornings...for anyone looking to buy it anyways
