the only downtime i've ever had at the Fest was last year, when i was so weak and dehydrated that i fell into a wall and nearly passed out in the holiday inn's hallway. i took about an hour to just sit around, but... i can't remember having any other time to kill. on the contrary, i feel like i never have ENOUGH time for anything.

Do it! Something like, "Fest 8 Synchronized Drinking Team" on the front, and on the back, "I'd Rather Be Festing!" Kill two birds with one stone...

Maybe instead of "Fest 8" just have "The Fest" or similar therefor it would still be valid at any Fest... or maybe the Fest 8 is a good idea to remember the times.

also what about any graphics? I think it would be amazing to have like the Fest logo on it but that would be more like the official Fest shirts. hmm.

Guys, please be careful when making anything that may involve copyright infringement. That's a big no, no.

I'd imagine that "The Fest" is entirely too common to be copyrighted. Fest 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. would probably be a different story.

I'm talking more about logos/artwork.

Sorry I typed that when i was extremely tired and delusional and didn't put it the way i meant. I would never put the actual logo and artwork on the t-shirt. I just meant some kind of maybe Fest related image or something so the words aren't so lonely.

Also good point about "The Fest" or "Fest 8" being copyrighted which could be an issue

I always liked my idea for a shirt: "The Fest: a marriage of beer and faces"

okay either we all get together in the registraion line, get some sixpacks before and somebody has to bring a ghetto blaster or landmines play a house show (I think after the last Fest it was posted the warehouse will hosts shows all three nights) and they do a thunderstruck-cover... left side of the audience against the other one

I like this idea! Do we get bonus points for showing up in AC/DC shirts?

this would be awesome...would be great if one of the bands covered the song just to keep us on our feet unexpectedly haha

as I guess its probably not allowed to bring and drink your own booze at the registration line and also nearly< impossible for everybody who wann a particpate being in line same time - I think the cover at a house show is even more likely.. where is signaldistress when we need him ..

you can totally bring your own beer for registration/the line. i got myself sooo drunk from hanging out with different friends in line, plus i live across the street from the Holiday Inn so I was just crossing the street and refilling a publix bag full of beers.

said publix bag being the one in that reax picture in my signature, and NOT totally full of stolen red bull... just partially.
