Don't worry guys!

We are holding the entire Fest inside of Wayward Council this year! Registration will be in the bathroom and you will need to bring your grandmother in order to pick up your tickets, so she can verify that you're really you. We've had a bunch of problems with fake ID's and stuff, so that's how we figure we'll get around it.

Also the Jawbreaker reunion is going to be at 1982 so make sure you get there at least three weeks early to get in line!

haha, classic, i'm actually camped out outside right now

This is inevitable I think, and it happens more than just at the Fest. There's always going to be someone with a way in.

i can understand a friend getting you in for free, but the butting line things is lame. i guess i should be pretty pumped that someone butting in line at the Fest is the biggest of my problems.

I guess I should qualify that it really was only at Market Street a couple of times that I skipped a line because I had already been there. I literally just went to the door to hand something to my friend (and went to go get on line to get in) and someone at the door said I could just walk in. No other venues did that and I have no issues with standing in line at all, I did multiple times at both Fests I've attended. I didn't do it purposely, I just took the opportunity as it was presented to me a couple of times. I don't doubt any of you, if you were given the chance to skip a line for a Fest show, you would do it.

skipping in the line is only an issue if the place is near capacity. If the line is just going slowly because of checking IDs and getting wristbands, it makes perfect sense for those that already have the right wrist band to go on in.

I know Cam doesn't like me over that thing that happened last year. But I'm trying to get some serious answers from the No Idea staff. That only tells me that the general consensus over there is "tough shit, deal with it".

lines are going to happen with this many people I honestly have to say they've been as good as they can about even making the bands wait in line too, so really there's no like line hierarchy or anything, you kind of do just have to deal with it, I got to registration early last year and went through quick, and getting into shows I wanted to see what pretty decent I only missed people from talking to friends and stuff they really try to put the most popular bands in the biggest venues and The Venue was only hard to get into for Atom and His Package otherwise there was no issue, I mean really complaining about lines? No shit they suck but there's not too much you can do about them

Yup, lines are going to happen, they are indeed a fact of life. But there's a difference between a fifteen-minute line, a half-hour line, and a two-hour line. You happened to get lucky and get through quickly. A lot of other people were in line for a very long time, and missing shows because of it. BTW, the complaint is with the length of the lines, not the fairness of them.

No issue for you.

Actually, there's lots you can do about them, or, perhaps, lots "They" can do about them, which is why we're discussing it.

I prefer scaling the wall and crawling through an open air duct.

I actually got stuck inside of Wayward Council last year. There was some poetry reading going on, and the kid at the door was all annoyed that people kept coming in and out, so he had the door locked and the key stashed in his pocket.

Nothing like that. Just some hearsay bologna shit. To be fair, I'm not even sure he is. I'm just a tiny speck on the all mighty No idea radar.
