Any out of state band I see in January will get a bag of oranges if they want it. This is so, so awesome. This thread just reminds me of the people I know who never drink water. They think it's "boring" and I really want to kill them. Seriously thanks, stick around after Fest until just before Christmas, and I'll give you all the oranges you want. and yeah, I try to drink a half gallon of water every day. I have a sturdy bottle that I take to work. I fill it up from a 5-gallon juge, which I fill up at the grocery store for $1.50. I used to be buying sodas from the vending machine in the break room, but water is so much better for you, and I save a ton of money.

Sugar water makes you fat, go figure.
I mean, one of my buddies is always talking about how he's gonna start losing wait so he can get laid again, and then lo and behold - he's drinking a 44oz. Coke.
I would stick around until December for oranges, but alas, I need to finish this stupid Bachelors degree at some point in my life.

I get really thirsty running from venue to venue shooting bands and I'm not going to buy water or have the time to find free water at a venue. I usually end up drinking out of the bathroom sink if I can't find water quick. I wish I could bring my own damn water!!! PJ, there should be an OK for some certain Fest working folks to have their own water, PLEASE.

I know whatever venue our crew is filming out we stock up on water and then if we ever need to send a camera guy out to another venue he just grabs some to take with him

Plus i REALLY don't want water in my camera bag anyway. I'd like to have it clipped to my hip like i do for going hiking. One less thing to hold.

The water thing, just like the age restrictions, are up to each individual venue to enforce. Venues don't generally let you bring in outside beverages. All the venues by law have free water available.

All the venues by law have free water available. As someone who sometimes works the bar or the door -- We don't know if its water. We don't want to spend time arguing about it. No drinks outside. No outside drinks allowed inside. Keep it simple! 1982 has free water in a cooler or $1 bottles of water. The Atlantic has a water fountain. CG has a cooler. MSP has a cooler. Not sure about the rest.
