you should be ashamed over some of the "do you have this in the UK" questions you were asking over 6am breakfast. also over your waffle excitement.

Personally my most embarrassing moment was after i picked up two people in orlando i got a fucking speeding ticket while talking to the australian guys i picked up about the cops in australia. Maybe not sooooo embarrassing as it was ironic but it def. sucked ass to get a $120 speeding ticket.

That's badass. Can you tell us what he got or is that type of thing confidential?

I'm only slightly embrassed by the way the dude at The Venue manhandled me after stage diving to Small Brown Bike. Unfortunately, there's video.

I was well on my way to getting over and past the crowd, and he pulled me back on stage, made me go out the back way.

my embarassing (well, COMPLETELY SHAMELESS) moment: Pretending to be asleep in the bed while watching two people have FESTsex on the floor!!!! when they finished, i made it clear i was awake, stood up and with my arms outstetched in triumph whispered, "Fest SEX!!!!"

it was hilarious! then i got up and opened the door to let in our buddy who had been knocking for about 20 minutes.

I totally would have pulled out my camera and got a shot and yelled something inappropriate. Go in the bathroom or a closet or something, geez. Way to make other people feel alone. I'm glad you said Fest Sex!

Not that i care but it may have made others uncomfortable. I was literally on stage during Tim Barry sitting at Josh Small's feet shooting the show. They played the second song and I got deep in thought and relating to Tim and started crying... like a LOT. i didn't even realize i had tears streaming down my face until i saw the faces of the audience members facing me. It was seriously intense. i love those guys with all my heart and can probably relate to what Tim says and sings about more than anyone else i've know for a looooong time now.

I believe that's when I cried too hahah. Not embarrassing but nonetheless happened.
Two weepy girls sitting on stage ha.

My buddy said that he was almost brought to tears by Tim Barrys set as well!! its understandable, Tim's songs are most definitely something special.

I was flat-out crying during Tim Barry. Like tears-streaming, lower-lip-trembling style. I don't get embarrassed by crying anymore though.

Wow, so besides you guys I've also talked to a LOT of other people that cried during Tim Barry. There is a raw sincerity in his music that causes this for sure. i had chills for much of the set. When i went out to the Suburban Home 14th Anniversary weekend in Denver a bit ago I saw Virgil (head of SH) cry during Tim's set that closed the event. When a group of us were hanging out later that night in a hotel room i told Tim about it and it isn't something he wants to hear. He is such a real person and strive to be more like him. So, it will be our little secret about the Fest show.

At the pre-Fest show Thursday night I had gotten back into 1982 after North Lincoln had played their first song. They started taking requests so I kept yelling for them to play Siblings. All of a sudden one of them goes "dude, that was the first song we played."

I felt like a jackass.

Remind me next year a couple days ahead of time and I'll bring some down with me as a peace offering for my bad impressions this year.
