A few good "what bands to see" threads but this one you only name 2.

1st, the one band you are the most hyped to see and will not miss their show no matter what. You have to see this one band play. This shouldnt be a band youre in or friends with, as presumably you could see those bands all the time.

2nd is optional, here you can name a band you're friends with, or a band thats more under the radar, that are good and you think people should check out.

And please no whining about "oh, you havent seen THEM" or "you think THATS obscure" or any other annoying elitist crap.

SO mine are

1) Asshole Parade

They have been around forever but I only found out about them at Fest 6. I got to the venue a few minutes before their set and there was no getting in, but what I could see through the crack in the door was amazing. I bought their CDs later, and have been listening to them steadily for the past 2 years (didnt make it to Fest 7). They're fast metally grindcore and I cant wait to tear it up.

2) The Emotron

One man band of a guy screaming over synthesized beats. Puts on a great show, often hilarious...has several good songs and a few really great songs. Check it OUT!

Number one for me has gotta be 7 Seconds. Along with SNFU and the Ramones they're my favourite band of all time and seeing as they've only ever played in London 3 times I'll take every opportunity I can get to see them when I'm across the pond.

As for a number two, well there's lots of bands playing that are my friends but with that in mind I do see them all play a lot so none of them make it into my second place. I would say Samiam would come in a close 2nd to 7 Seconds but hardly a band anyone could call 'under the radar'!

Rehasher...let's be honest, it's the only place you can see them play.
