Some people (Jam included) will be at the Tampa pre-Fest that night though.
Where abouts are you from anyway? There maybe be people visiting your city on the way to Fest.
As for the UK lot talking about Fest, it's crazy as when I came out for Fest 5 no one in the UK seemed to know about it and about 20 of us randomly met up when we got there. Now you can't go to any DIY punk show anywhere in the country without over hearing someone making Fest plans. You lot must be getting sick to death of us!! Cool, I'll probably head over there after I get settled. I am in San Francisco so not sure how many people or bands that would be heading over in this direction. Except for D4, who play an awesome secret show last night.. I'm not getting sick of you UK folks one bit. Way more friendly and sarcastic than most Americans I meet.

Kai (is it Kai? Apologies if not!), you have to get Jan Yo Yo over. I know he's scared of flying but I reckon he might crack.
(PS. I'm assuming everyone in German DIY knows everyone the same as basically everyone in UK DIY knows each other.)

(PS. I'm assuming everyone in German DIY knows everyone the same as basically everyone in UK DIY knows each other.) Yeah its Kai and yeah I know him, like more from seeing at shows or sending record to me from his fanzine and when I found out about the Fest - I thought right away that he defintily would be there... of course flying is different, but I would be rather scared spending thousands of kilometers on a tour in a van on the autobahn than getting on a plane.. wouldn't say everybody knows each other right away, but of course most people are connected, but germany is big, there are different scenes and often its different people that are putting on shows in the antifa scene (where we have a couple of bigger names on the roster) than the ones putting on the more punkock DIY bands..

That's a coincidence as I'm coming to San Fran for 10 days on my way to Fest! Gonna be there from about October 15th if you wanna meet up for beers sometime?

Rhiannon was trying to talk me into going there but it's not even a month before The Fest and maybe one band playing that I'd go out of my way to see... Who are playing Fest anyway!

Actually I think it's coz Dan is going to Uni and can't afford Fest it so Hud and Ranon decided to come to Riot Fest instead.

Bangers, OK Pilot and Apologies I Have None played that day and will be playing Fest as well as Chillerton hopefully. Members of TCOL, Grizzley Ends and Los Mendozas are also flying out as well as a good percentage of the crowd from that day I reckon!
Who did you meet? Chances are if they're coming to Fest I'll know who they are! I met Jam at a Hard Skin show and my friend was wearing a Cobra Skulls shirt and he invited us to Punk 'n' Bowl. It was awesome, all the bands were great. I met a girl named Cara and she gave me the set list so I could check out the bands when I got back to the states. I also hung out with the singer of The Cost of Living, forgot her name but they were all rad! Los Mendozas were tight, what a drunken mess haha. Hope to run into people again. I was there! I'd forgotten the Los Mendozas set

Wear a name badge so I don't run the risk of saying hello to a complete stranger
