What do they all have in common?
I'm releasing records for all of them.
And, with any luck, I'll be selling that stuff at Fest 8. It was a lot of fun last year!
But you can also pre-order all these new records right now, with some deals going on for another week or so.
Anyway, here's run down on the releases:
LEMURIA, "Ozzy" 7"Two new longer songs, plus an added download-able song. This is going to be in a cool arigato package with silkscreened covers from the folks at Pedal Printing and art by Ben Sears.
END OF A YEAR, "More Songs About Transportation and Intercourse" 7"2 new jams and a cover. An homage to a great band in both record artwork and the cover song. Take a guess who?
THE HELM, "Home" LP/CDSeattle's crusty hardcore maniacs return with a new record of blistering hardcore, fast and ultra-pissed. Vinyl in gatefold jacket. Listen here:

PRIZE COUNTRY, 'With Love" LP/CDPortland's best-kept secret, yet they seem to tour all the frickin' time. Super loud and heavy post-hardcore that rocks so hard it will make you sterile... I don't know how, but it will. Vinyl comes in gatefold jacket. Check 'em out here:
http://www.myspace.com/prizecountry* New songs from these bands are posted up on the Hex Records page too if you're curious...
http://www.myspace.com/hanginghex** There will obviously be cool package deals for ordering multiple records and all that cool stuff, colored vinyl, etc.
*** Oh yeah, making
Hex Records coffee mugs too. I love coffee.
***** PS- If I get it done in time, bigger orders will get a free copy of the
Hex Records 10 year anniversary label comp.: has songs from most of our releases, as well as unreleased B-sides from
