<  THE FEST 4  ~  Is it going to be like last year where you had to....

show up to a venue 5 bands early to catch one you wanted to see due to over capacity and the like.

is there going to be any priority given to people who have 3-day passes or anything? i'm just wondering cause last year i know i had to show up way early to market street to catch someone who i can no longer remember.

either way i'm looking forward to the Fest this year. it was a great experience last year and this year is looking really promising.

and maybe this year they could stop that "oh, well these people are on guest list but you losers who paid can stand in line until the show is over" bullshit. that'd be nice.

Piss whine moan. Man, you people are boring. How many times has this come up? If you're THAT desperate to see Against Me (and let's face it, it's always friggin Against Me when people are complaining) then turn up in plenty of time. Common Grounds is big but not that big and they're a pretty popular band! They sell out places in advance so it's not that big of a stretch to think that you can just waltz in off the street 30 minutes before they play and expect to be let in. The organisers of the Fest aren't just going to sell the same number of passes as the capacity of Common Grounds because there are three other venues to run around in. The Fest is supposed to be about having a big raging party, not just about seeing a band who will no doubt be in your neighbourhood again next week anyway. Miss one band? Well then quit sulking and go see someone you haven't heard of somewhere else. You may just find your new favourite band.

actually, i don't like against me at all and that was the problem. people filled common grounds to see them way before they played. i had to miss a few i wanted to see at other venues to see someone else who was playing right before against me.

So what do you suggest as a solution then? As I've said already, they're not going to sell the same number of passes as the capacity of Common Grounds as there are other venues for people to go.

EDIT - yeah, stick em in the warehouse if it's used or in abbey road.

actually scratch my problem, as this entire time, i neglected to read the part where they're using abbey road. i'm sure it won't be the same with the inclusion of the larger venue.
