i say put Against Me in their own club so that if you want to see bands that havent become stale charicatures of themselves, the venue you're going to to see, say, Dillinger Four, won't be sold out and full of Against Me!'s pre-pubey crew.

I agree with putting Against Me! in their own venue. That would suck to miss good bands because of them two years in a row.

come the fuck on . against me ! is a great band. don't become so p.c. that your judgement is adjusted to the current state of "cool" . but i'm not going to change any of your'e minds . in fact i'm almost certain the next post will be some punker than thou rant explaining how i just don't get it . they are a band . they play the music that comes out of them . it's sincere . they don't have all the answers . they never said they did. get over it .

They're a good band, I'd see them if they came by and it was a fairly priced show. I just dont want em to get in the way of Dillinger Four or Army Of Ponch or any other band i wanna see.

Fuck it. I just wanna see Savage Brew. I was a little pist last year because I couldnt get in to the Lucero show until the middle, but fuck it Ive seen em enough along with a lot of the bands here. I dont hold it against, against me for being popular I still have fun at their shows.

fuck this...Against Me absolutly rulez. and i'm STOKED i get to see them in their hometown.

I don't care what anyone says...I like the other bands....but I'll miss them if i have to...Against Me! changed something inside me and i know they have to many of you to...fuck the haters.

go look at the pictures from '03. that was two whole years ago sort of before the whole 'against me' aura took over punk rock, and it was still insane. good luck to anyone who wants to see them at the Fest, not to mention they're playing elsewhere during the Fest, so who knows if they're even playing the Fest or not...

The Against Me show will be on the Sunday at Brick City (Abbey Road) - I think it's just going to be the four bands that are on the Fat tour that will be playing.

Smoke or Fire and the Soviettes are pretty good, hopefully i can catch them
