I drove to see Radon's "last show ever" from my sweet home Milwaukee, straight to Gville, in October of 2002. On the way, I overdosed on Yellow Jacket (tm) pills (I took 10 of them, reasoning that I'd be able to drive straight to Gainesville, no problem...well, PROBLEM.), and projectile vomited all over the inside of my own car. Eventually, I got better, and Radon were EXCELLENT (as were Billy Reese Peters, who I had not seen before that date, I think) - one of the top 5 shows of my life fo' sho'. It was good to see that a lot of people knew a lot of the words - scratch that, almost all the people knew almost all of the words to their songs. Radon's 12" is one of the ten best albums of all time. It's porch music for breezy days, hammocks, and margaritas.
