Et Tu Brute

Chicago Suburbs

Formed in 2013 after the disintegration of former Chicago Punk local group X Is For Eyes, EtTu Brute is “the way it should have been.” Influenced by acts such as Hot Water Music, The Lawrence Arms, and Jawbreaker, this act produces lyrically driven, melodic, midwestern punk rock. Mike Noonan, former X Is For Eyes singer/songwriter had been composing songs over a bittersweet two period, and it wasn’t until forming the band with close friends Bert Mojica (Hot Lips Messiah/Duller Colors), Brian Perfect (Aim At Your Enemies/ X Is For Eyes), and Kc Hainsworth (Duller Colors), the chips fell into place and rendered their first release “Not In Our Stars” EP in February 2013. The band is currently finished with their “mini-concept” sophomore EP entitled “Risk,” self released on digital/vinyl in February 2014.
