Boardroom Heroes

Washington, DC
Forming around Washington DC in 2012, Boardroom Heroes write honest, straightforward songs about relationships, memories, change, and stagnation. “The idea with a lot of our songs, and especially our new ep ‘New Wage,’” says bassist Andre Pagliarini, “is to talk about personal experiences in—hopefully!—a relatable way that reflects the idea that the personal can be political. Our friends, life choices, our bands.” Whether singing about the peril of nostalgia among a modern music scene or the way returning home after being away can be just as suffocating as it is comforting, Boardroom Heroes try to write songs that feel familiar but fresh at the same time.
